What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us. If you sign up for community news, we store your email address, and your mobile number if you opt in to text reminders, together with the consent you gave and the date you gave it.
We never sell your information
Your details are never sold, rented or shared for advertising. We use them only to send you the community news you asked for.
Unsubscribing and deletion
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, and you may reply to any of those emails to ask us to delete your details. We act on deletion requests promptly.
Site assistant
Questions typed into the site assistant are sent to an AI service so it can answer from this site's published text. Those questions are not used to identify anyone. Please don't include personal or sensitive information in your questions.
Analytics and cookies
On the live site we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and links people find useful. Google Analytics sets its own cookies in your browser.
We also keep our own simple count of page visits. That record holds the page address, the place the visit came from, and a scrambled one-way code so repeat visits can be counted without identifying you. It feeds a weekly summary sent to the person who looks after this site.
We set no advertising cookies and we never sell any of this information. Your chosen display mode and text size are stored in your own browser so the site remembers them on your next visit.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Our children's classes and junior youth pages are written for parents and other adults. If you believe a child has given us their details, reply to any of our emails and we will remove them.
